This was originally intended to be a MUCH simpler drawing, but I got carried away. I may color this later. Or not.
From the 1st few pages of Terry Pratchett's book "Nightwatch". Jocasta Wiggs, a young assassin-in-training was sent on a training mission, only to be dumped into a cesspit by a booby trap while trying to get her target, Sir Samuel Vimes, in her sights. Here she sits, having cleaned up somewhat, wet and disappointed. About 10 hours for this one, spaced over several days. Pencil, quill and brush on crappy bristol I'm trying to use up. This will be my first of many Discworld pieces, most of which will be MUCH less complex. I think. |
